Here we explain how to germinate with Jiffy step by step and give useful tips to ensure the success of your crop from day one.

Legal note: Cannactiva seeds are for collection purposes only and are not intended for cultivation or germination. This article is for informational purposes only and describes the general use of the Jiffy Sprouter.

What is a Jiffy?

A Jiffy is a small disc of pressed peat that, when hydrated, expands and becomes an excellent growing medium for germinating seeds. The Jiffy is very easy to use: just soak it in water for a few minutes until it increases in size and becomes spongy. Then simply put the seed inside.

Among its benefits, the Jiffy keeps the humidity very well, which helps the seed to germinate in good conditions and facilitates the development of the roots from the first moment. In addition, it allows the plant to be transplanted directly with the Jiffy to the final pot, without touching the roots or stressing it.
