This spring at Cannactiva we let ourselves be carried away by a question as old as life itself: which came first, the fruit or the seed? Spring is precisely that —the moment when the earth opens up again, what seemed asleep awakens, and life, once more, finds a way to carry on. A cycle with no beginning and no end, where every seed holds a tree, and every tree, a thousand seeds.
Sometimes we spend our whole lives searching for the perfect answer —like the elephant, the monkey and the crocodile on our postcard— without realising that it's enough simply to dare to live. Spring doesn't reason: it sprouts. And it reminds us that, more often than not, we don't need to have the answer. Sometimes, quite simply, we are the answer.
With that inspiration, we present the spring 2026 collection. We're launching MARULA (Fruity Bliss) as a new limited-edition CBD flower within our Artist Series, illustrated by the artist Pau Roda. Discover it all!
MARULA (Fruity Bliss), a new limited-edition CBD flower
Discover MARULA, inspired by the Fruity Bliss strain, our new limited-edition CBD flower within the Artist Series collection.

Its aroma profile is enveloping and layered: an intense forest-fruit sweetness —blueberries, blackberries, redcurrants— interwoven with a powerful resinous character, a warm touch of incense and a soft earthy undertone of woodland after the rain. With up to 24% CBD, MARULA offers medium to large buds, compact and dense, light green with amber glints and abundant trichome crystallisation. Greenhouse grown and hand-selected and hand-trimmed: a one-of-a-kind piece in the Cannactiva catalogue.

The spring 2026 postcard
This year, the text on the postcard takes us to the heart of the savanna, to the foot of a marula tree and its impossible question. A little fable about the cycle of life, instinct, and the innocence of those who dare to live without waiting to have it all figured out. Here is the full text:
Answer me now, if you can…
In the heart of the savanna, a marula tree, proud and tall, made a solemn vow: I will only let you taste my fruit if you can answer what I ask —Which came first, the fruit or the seed?
The elephant sat down to think. He's been at it for centuries now, yet no clear answer has he found. 🐘
The monkey lost his mind, from turning the question round and round.
And the crocodile swore that one fine day the riddle he would solve. He lay down in the sun, and settled in to muse.
Meanwhile, on a branch of the tree, an egg began to crack. Out came a chick, innocent and answerless, yet brimming with the will to live.
Without a hint of fear, he reached for one of the marula fruits and started, then and there, to peck.
Such a fit of tickles seized the tree that it simply couldn't bear, and weak with laughter, it surrendered to the little one's lesson, and had to let its fruit fall free.
The chick didn't know how to answer the question. The chick was the answer.
And that is how every animal got to taste marula and rejoice. 🥭

Artistic collaboration with Pau Roda
The spring 2026 postcard is illustrated by Pau Roda, an illustrator with a language all his own, inspired by nature, surrealism and fantasy. In his own words: “For as long as I can remember, I've had a pencil in my hand. Thanks to that, I've developed a language built around fiction and the imaginary, inspired by nature, surrealism and fantasy.”
In this collaboration, his line evokes the jungle and the fruits of the African tree that gives this flower its name: the pensive elephant, the maddened monkey, the crocodile in the sun, and the chick who, without knowing it, solves the riddle. Art, nature and premium CBD in a single image.
The illustration is also available as a limited-edition “Marula Jungle” poster, part of Cannactiva's exclusive art collection.

A spring gift: a MARULA (Fruity Bliss) seed
This spring, with every order at Cannactiva you'll receive a free autoflowering CBD hemp seed of the MARULA (Fruity Bliss) variety. The very wink that closes our postcard: if you're wondering which came first, the fruit or the seed… here is the answer, ready to begin the cycle all over again.
More than a gift, it's a small symbol of the season: the promise that everything sprouts again. The seed of the flower that opens our spring Artist Series, now in your hands.

A seed that sums up the spirit of the whole collection:
- MARULA · Fruity Bliss variety — the hybrid genetics of our new spring flower.
- Autoflowering — the simplest and noblest kind of seed, true to the spontaneous character of the season.
- Certified hemp — an industrial hemp seed, the origin of everything we grow with love.
A fruit that holds a seed, and a seed that hides a whole tree. The cycle, once again, set in motion.

Spring is daring to live without having all the answers
Like the chick on the postcard, sometimes there's no need to solve the riddle: it's enough to step closer, peck, and let life unfold. The fruit and the seed don't compete to be first; they need one another, they contain one another, they renew one another. That is what spring is: the reminder that everything begins again.
May this spring find you eager to sprout, to set down the weight of unanswered questions and to start anew —like the seed we've left you so the cycle carries on in your hands. Thank you for being with us. Happy spring, Cannactivist.
